2022 was a milestone year for OSE, and we wanted to take a moment to share the highlights of another year spent designing and producing some of Ottawa’s best live events, as well as acquiring an incredible LED video wall and launching the newly rebranded OSE.

Ottawa Events in 2022
Fire and Ice 2022
Every year, we love partnering with the Bank Street BIA to give downtown’s Bank Street a weekend “glow up” for the Fire & Ice Ottawa festival!
This year’s highlights included transforming Snider Plaza with a series of interactive LED video walls, projection mapping onto the sides of local buildings, and creating multiple lighting installations to create a little winter magic for everyone who attended.
Ottawa Tulip Festival
The annual Tulip Festival is a major tourist attraction and community event in Ottawa, and we were thrilled to create an interactive instalment highlighting this unique event’s history and cultural connections.
Capital Pride
We once again teamed up with Capital Pride to produce their lighting and stage design for the 2022 Capital Pride Festival. Was it just us, or was the entire event just a little brighter and more magical after two years away?

Acquiring a high-res, interactive video wall
2022 also saw our biggest technology investment yet: the acquisition of the highest resolution indoor/outdoor LED video wall in the Ottawa area.
The LED display guarantees a sharp, bright image. Its combination indoor/outdoor capability makes it a versatile option for any event. And its interactive capability and OSE’s design wizards work hand in hand to create a “wow!” experience for your guests… as well as a lasting impression for your brand.

In April 2022 we proudly relaunched Ottawa Special Events as Optimal Show Experience. Keeping the OSE acronym honours our history and strong reputation in the Ottawa events community, while our exciting new name and bold modern look point to the creativity, innovation and technical expertise that we bring to every project.
